Over the last week the Australian media and the tween's of our sun-burnt country have been in a feeding frenzy over Canadian singer Justin Beiber, I have to admit, until his concert was cancelled in Sydney last week, I hadn't heard of the singing sensation, discovered on Youtube, who is taking the world by storm. Granted I'm not his demographic but you'd think in a world obsessed with pop culture I'd have had an idea of who he was. Maybe I'm getting old.
But getting old - for those lovely ladies in my age group - apparently isn't a bad thing. The 16 year old today said in an interview with www.news.com.au that he had no problem dating someone older, although he did say that anyone over 40 probably would be too old for him at this stage.
Now, before you all go running to his door however he's quoted in the article as saying
"I just look for a girl who is funny and has nice eyes and a smile."
Nothing like a girl with a smile.
So there you have it. So long as you're 40 or under you're in with a chance. Maybe he could get a guest staring role on Cougar Town with Courtney Cox. I'm sure it would be a ratings winner.
